I’m really fortunate that some of the music that I was part of many years ago is still popular and being sought out. Recently music of Mince Pye was used as part of two separate theatrical performances in the UK. Midland Theatre Ballet in Birmingham opened their ballet production of Snow White with the Mince Pye tune Medieval Drum Dance, and Chandlings School in Oxford used Mince Pye music as part of their production “Arthur: The Courting Years”.
Though I don’t perform at Renaissance Fairs any more, I do still love playing this kind of music. There is a new album in the works along this alley and I’ve been busy recording Hammered Dulcimer, Mandolin and Guitar tracks for it. Stay tuned for more news soon.
